New for 2025 - a compact variety of this well branched shrub with simple, pinnate and deeply veined, evergreen leaves. From June to October foliage is sprinkled with spherical clusters of rich pink and golden orange flowers which open from tightly packed darker buds. Perfect for baskets, containers, raised beds and herbaceous borders - from where flowers will emit a gentle perfume, likened to ‘moss with sweeter, floral undertones’. Pollinator friendly blooms which can be cut for a vase inside your home too. All you need do is deadhead flower clusters as they fade to ensure a continuation of flowers well into autumn. Lantana camara ‘Passion Fruit’ is a warm temperate (H1c), evergreen which needs protection once temperatures drop below around 5°C. Alternatively, it can be grown as an annual. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil of any kind and locate in full sun with a south or west facing aspect. Reaches a height of 45cm with a spread of 40cm and trailing to 30cm.
