Tell Me More...
Highly ornamental with sweetly aromatic foliage, Lantana camara ‘Evita Pink’ creates a fantastic display in borders and containers. From early summer to first frosts, each verbena-like cluster of blooms changes colour from bright, sunny yellow to vivid shades of rose-pink. As each flower in the cluster opens at a different time, the whole range is always seen, giving an amazing tri-coloured effect. Flowering from June to October, attractive, fragrant, lush evergreen mounds of serrated-edged foliage create a beautiful weed-suppressing groundcover beneath. Known commonly as ‘Jamaican Mountain Sage’, Lantana camara ‘Evita Pink’ is compact and bushy, reaching a mature height and spread of around 30cm. Drought and heat tolerant once established, it is happiest in a south facing, sunny position and has been classed as warm temperate H1C by the RHS, so will need protection over winter.
