Tell Me More...
Perfect for containers, or a smaller garden, Kniphofia ‘Poco Orange’ boasts an abundance of blooms with incredible enthusiasm, producing torches of bright, flaming orange blooms from July to September. Perfect for setting your pots, rockeries, and borders on fire, the almost luminescent flowerheads are pollinator friendly, acting as beacons to encourage them in. Held on strong stems above attractive clumps of semi-evergreen, arching, grass-like foliage, this treasure grows to a height of 50cm and spreads to around 40cm. Ideal for a patio or balcony where space is at a premium or for mingling within a prairie planting scheme, Kniphofia ‘Poco Orange’ is drought tolerant once a good root system has been established. Preferring to be planted in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position, it would appreciate the benefits of a south or west facing aspect. Photo(s) courtesy of TERRA NOVA® Nurseries, Inc.
