Tell Me More...
A Red Hot Poker with a difference, Kniphofia 'Mango Popsicle' is more compact and well-behaved than others in the family yet still has the large, exotic-looking blooms. This particular variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit which directly reflects its outstanding performance and reliability in the garden. From July to September, strong stems emerge and open to reveal fantastic, bright orange-yellow, poker-like flowerheads. Specially bred to be bushy, attractive upright clumps of grass-like foliage which bring architectural movement and texture to your planting. Ideal for smaller gardens, containers and borders - plants will even thrive in coastal areas and rockeries. Also commonly known as 'Torch Lilies', Kniphofia are native to Africa, drought tolerant and unfussy on soil type. Kniphofia 'Mango Popsicle' prefers a site with moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. A hardy perennial which reaches a height of up to 75cm with a spread of 60cm.
