With flowers from June through to August which are up to 4cm across, Jasminum officinale f. affine is one of the largest flowering climbing jasmines. The generous blooms are held against a backdrop of rich green foliage which offers valuable screening from March right through to November time. Flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies, whilst plants are happy grown in either a container or open ground as long as they have a structure they can twirl and climb up. The blooms open wide from pointed pink buds and retain a pinkish tinge to the white flowers. Second to none is the much-loved and instantly recognisable jasmine perfume which will drift on summer breezes to fill your garden.
