Impatiens hawkeri 'Clockwork™ Red' blooms prolifically from June until autumn, bringing a splash of vibrant colour to your summer pots, hanging baskets, and borders. Lipstick red petals stand out from the crowd against a lush backdrop of glossy green foliage. A garden favourite, often referred to as ‘Busy Lizzies’. Ensure a stream of gorgeous blooms by deadheading regularly. Feed plants with liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks and keep well-watered, ensuring the soil drains well. A tender perennial, usually grown in the UK as annual bedding. Impatiens can also be overwintered undercover to flower the following year. Neat and compact Impatiens hawkeri 'Clockwork™ Red' is perfect for colourful summer containers or nestled into gaps near the front of the border once the spring frosts have finished. Thrives in any moist, well-drained soil which is rich in organic matter, preferring full sun or partial shade. Grows to a height and spread of 30cm.
