Tell Me More...
A snappy sight to behold.Hosta 'Lemon Snap' belongs to a new generation of Hosta. Unusually coloured, cupped yellow leaves are complemented with striking red stems and veins, with the added touch of pretty purple bell-shaped flowers from June to August.Otherwise known as Plantain Lily, Hosta 'Lemon Snap' will add a wonderful texture to your garden and placing a few leaves to a vase of fresh cut flowers will transform any bouquet. Growing to a height of 30cm and a spread of 40cm, they are classed as fully hardy (H7) by the RHS. Happy to grow anywhere except in full sun, Hostas will thrive in shady areas of the garden, either in borders or containers. They are herbaceous perennials, so will die back over the winter and produce fresh new growth in the following spring.Hostas are clump forming, so very straightforward to propagate by division in early spring or late summer as and when required.
