Tell Me More...
A pair of honeysuckle to brighten your garden with both height and colour. Honeysuckle create twining stems, ideal for covering walls, fences, and garden structures with beautifully scented flowers. You receive two varieties whose flowers will add splashes of gold and rose hues to the back of your border. Lonicera heckrottii 'Gold Flame' has dusky rose-coloured pink buds which explode into elongated golden blooms between June and August, smothering the climbing stems and granted a prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the RHS for its brilliant garden performance. Lonicera japonica 'Halliana' produces elegant trumpet shaped flowers opening as pure white and soon turn to a buff gold as they mature, ensuring an abundance of white and yellow flowers at the same time. Add to this, the much-loved familiar honeysuckle scent, the dark green foliage, and glossy black berries in autumn. Preferring well-drained soil, in sun or partial shade. Prune immediately after flowering, if necessary, as Honeysuckle flowers on the previous year's growth. A magnet for all wildlife - pollinator-friendly blooms are followed by berries in autumn. Please be aware the berries are not edible. Hardy (H5) deciduous shrubs which do not require winter protection. Growing to heights of 8-10m with spreads of 2-4m.
