With exotic, tropical looking blooms borne in profusion from July to October, Hibiscus syriacus 'Lavender Chiffon' will add valuable colour to the garden from the middle of summer through to the autumn. Flowers are hollyhock-like and borne in profusion, with this particular variety offering ruffled and enticing double layered blooms with darker veined accents to the central petals. As one of the last shrubby summer blooms to join the party, we can assure you they are well worth the wait. Reaching a height and spread of 2 metres this hardy, deciduous beauty is happy in a large container as well as in the ground, making it more readily adapted to courtyard or patio gardens too.Plant Hibiscus syriacus 'Lavender Chiffon' in moist, well-drained soil which benefits from full sun and you will be rewarded with oodles of flowers held above shiny green foliage which is retained from April to October.
