A new and exciting hybrid variety which is a cross between a heuchera and a tiarella - taking the best assets of both to bring you Heucheralla Pink Revolution. Deeply lobed, verdant foliage emerges in February and develops deep red markings which increase in intensity as the summer progresses. This is a vigorous and spreading variety which retains its foliage through to October for gap-filling, ground covering interest. From May to July the foliage explodes with frothy stems of bubble-gum pink flowers, ideal for cutting to add to a vase. Blooms are produced in abundance and provide a nectar-rich feast for pollinators and other insects as well as a sight to behold in pots, baskets and rockeries. Heucherella Pink Revolution likes a spot in moist, well-drained soil apart from loam, which is acid to neutral in pH. Plant in full sun or partial shade and this hardy, semi-evergreen perennial will mature to a height and spread of 30-45cm without the need for additional winter protection throughout most of the UK.
