Tell Me More...
New for 2025, Hemerocallis ‘Stella Rouge’ is a dwarf variety which is perfect for a container as well as the front of an herbaceous border. Ideal for smaller spaces too, as plants reach a height and spread of around 40cm – fitting neatly onto a balcony or in a courtyard garden. These are vigorous and vital perennials which produce an abundance of red, orange and yellow toned flowers in June to July each year. Continual deadheading encourage even more flowers to form – plenty for a vase as well as your garden! Hemerocallis ‘Stella Rouge’ is a drought tolerant and robust variety with swordlike foliage produced from March to September each year. Plant in any type of well-drained soil. Water well until plants are established and position in full sun or partial shade of any aspect except north facing. A hardy (H6), herbaceous perennial which should be trimmed back once flowers and foliage fade in autumn.
