Tell Me More...
A new arrival for us in 2025, this is a special, dwarf variety which reaches just 40-50cm in height and spread. The perfect solution for those of us who love these popular plants but have smaller gardens, courtyards or balconies unable to accommodate their taller cousins. Hemerocallis ‘Stella Citron’ is a fast growing and easy going variety. Plants produce an abundance of sunny, yellow and cream, lily-like blooms in June to July each year, with deadheading encouraging continual flowers on this drought tolerant perennial with lush, swordlike leaves. Stems can even be cut for a vase, adding sunny hues and an uplifting vibe to your home. Plant your Hemerocallis ‘Stella Citron’ in any type of well-drained soil. Water well until plants are established and position in full sun or partial shade of any aspect except north facing. A hardy (H6), herbaceous perennial which should be trimmed back once flowers and foliage fade in autumn.
