Wake up winter with these warm-hearted beauties. As your garden slumbers, these charming Helleborus Orientalis wake up and shake their pretty heads to show us that the new season and year has begun! The days can be dark and drab, but the saucer-shaped single and double flowers become glisteniong beacons of colour and light in your dormant utopia. Framed by glossy, evergreen leaves these luscious beauties bloom from late January well into May, coping with all manner of weather conditions. Resistant to deer and rabbits looking for an early feed, they do allow sleepy bees to feast on their nectar rich flowers. As fully hardy perennials with RHS rating of H7, the plants will require no winter protection. They prefer a site which benefits from moist, humus-rich soil in dappled shade and will reach a height and spread of 30-50cm.
