Tell Me More...
Imaging a hellebore which starts to flower in January and continues to do so until April. A hellebore which brightens up the dark days of winter. A hellebore festooned with large flowers which bloom in white and lime green. The hellebore you can picture is Helleborus x hybridus ‘Frostkiss Molly’s White’. The ‘Frostkiss’ series created quite stir when first shown at the Dutch Flower Trials and have been in constant demand since. Whatever size of garden or container, ‘Frostkiss Molly’s White’ will carry the glorious message ‘Spring is arriving soon’. This is a relative of the buttercup and the early season nectar is appreciated by the first pollinators. Hellebores prefer moist fertile soils, though are renowned for their robustness. Dappled shade is the optimum light for hellebores and ‘Molly’s White’ is as equally hardy as all varieties of hellebore. Maintenance is minimal, remove any dead material once the new foliage and flowers start to appear. Height and spread 60cm.
