Each variegated, dark and light green leaf has the slightest pink edge, almost looking as if hand painted. The bright, evergreen foliage is topped by clusters of small buds densely pack the ends of the branches in May and June, each one opens to reveal small, vibrant pink blooms. Looking almost veronica-like, Hebe have been given the common name Shrubby Veronica.Hebe are named after the Greek goddess of eternal youth and enthusiastically emulate her role by rewarding you with fabulous flowers and nectar, your garden will become a gift from the gods to visiting butterflies and other pollinators. Reaching a height and spread of 75-100cm, and with an RHS hardiness rating of H3, which is down to -5 C, Hebe wiri 'Celebration' is a versatile addition, even in coastal gardens - so long as it gets plenty of sun and is planted in moist, well-drained soil, whether in a border or a container.
