Tell Me More...
Drift Roses have been specially bred to stay manageable in size. Large, semi-double fragrant roses, perfect as groundcover in borders or containers, and now in your hanging baskets. Whatever next!A mound-forming, colourful, spreading, repeat flowering (every five-six weeks), compact shrub rose which gives you incredible colour for months on end. In addition, Drift Roses are excellent at preventing those pesky weeds from coming through. A 'Drift Rose' is a cross between a full-size groundcover rose and a miniature rose. You can sit back and enjoy the stunning scent and incredible number of blooms from spring to first frosts, then you are sure to 'get our drift'. Drift roses are much loved by bees, amazingly easy to grow and virtually maintenance free. Reaching a height of 60cm, and spreading to approximately 90cm, preferring well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Being perennial, you will be enjoying these in your garden for years to come and they require no winter protection, unless you are in the coldest of areas, in which case just add a mulch around the base of the plant.
