Tell Me More...
New and colourful ensemble of vibrant daisy-like flowers up to 10cm across, collated to both enhance and contrast with each other in a myriad of reds, oranges and yellows. Blooms emerge in June and remain through to September or October time; poised on strong stems above long, narrow silvery green, fuzzy foliage which emerges in March and stays until the first frosts. This colourful trio is perfect for pollinators and also makes and excellent cut flower for a vase or bouquet. Petals glow like fire embers bringing reflective splendour to pots, window boxes and herbaceous borders.Collection comprises: aristata 'Amber Wheels' - deep yellow petals with amber-red centers; aristata 'Burgunder' - rich ruby petals with glowing yellow centres; and x grandiflora 'Sunset Snappy' - red pink centres surrounded by golden halo.Glowing Gaillardia Collection prefers a site with well-drained soil in full sun. A hardy, herbaceous perennial. Drought tolerant once established and happy to settle in wildlife gardens, where they will attract butterflies, as well as rockeries or gravel gardens and herbaceous borders. Plants mature to a height and spread of 40-50cm.
