Thriving in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade, all are classed as hardy perennials, so no additional winter protection is needed in most areas of the UK.Your collection includes: Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron' - Bright red spikes of sword-shaped foliage, each leaf changing to bright green at the base at it matures. Spikes of silvery flowers from July to August. Height and spread 30-45cm. Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola' - Upright stems rise above narrow striped green and yellow foliage from June to August, holding pale green flowers. Height 30cm. Spread 50cm. Festuca glauca 'Blue Auslese' - delicate silvery, blue-green, needle-like foliage is displayed year-round with spikelets appearing June to August. Height and spread 20-30cm.
