Tell Me More...
Geum 'Banana Diaquiri' brings delicately veined, lemon petals which surround frivolous heads of gold anthers. Borne as profusions of branched, semi-double clusters, held on wiry stems from May to July. As flowers fade, remove them to ensure a continuation of blooms. Foliage is slightly hairy and formed as basal rosettes which creates clumps from as early as February right through to the first frosts. A splendid inclusion in a pollinator friendly garden where the nectar-rich, zesty tones will lure in bees and butterflies for a feast. Happy in containers, gravel gardens and window boxes as well as the border. Plant with other varieties from the 'Cocktail Series' for a touch of fun in your garden or mingle with foxgloves, delphiniums and roses for a cottage garden haven.Geum 'Banana Diaquiri' is a semi-evergreen, fully hardy perennial which prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Grows to a height of 50cm with a spread of 45cm.
