Spreading and floriferous, as Spring breaks, you will almost feel Geranium bohemicum 'Brookside' building up energy ready to produce a soft mound of lush, green weed-suppressing foliage. Shortly afterwards, a mass of bountiful buds smother the foliage, bursting open to reveal large, saucer-shaped, violet-blue blooms with white centres from June until August or September, every year.
