Geranium × cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' produces an abundance of the palest pink blooms, which smothers the low, slightly fragrant, semi-evergreen carpet of foliage all summer - the perfect contrast to show off their abundance of nectar-rich blooms so loved by butterflies and bees. A tough, easy to grow, semi-evergreen and ornate carpet for borders, containers or even under trees or shrubs, which is both low maintenance and undemanding. Spreading by runners, it is well behaved but will quickly cover any bare patches, the lush, green foliage turns glorious shades of orange and red in autumn. Geranium × cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' reaches a height of approximately 20-30cm and spreads up to 45cm, preferring to be grown in well-drained soil in sun, partial shade or even full but bright shade. As a hardy perennial (H6), ‘Biolovo’ survives even the coldest winters outside, down to -20°C, for years to come with no winter protection required.
