Foliage emerges in March and is retained through to November each year - leaves are long and narrow with a slightly hairy surface.Prefers a site with well-drained soil in full sun. Gaillardia x grandiflora 'Burgunder' is a hardy, herbaceous perennial which is drought tolerant once established. It will happily settle in wildlife gardens, where flowers will attract butterflies, as well as rockeries or gravel gardens and herbaceous borders.
