Fuchsia 'Millennium' will cascade over pots and baskets with all the style and grace of a ballerina - lending an opulence and sophistication wherever you choose to plant them. Large, double blooms are poised on downward facing stems with elongated, decorative stamen. Flowers are gently ruffled with reflexed, illuminating magenta meeting intense, almost black, central petals in charming collaboration. Eternally popular as summer bedding, fuchsia are admired for their bright colours and pendulous, lantern-like flowers. Originating from the Americas, the first fuchsias arrived in England in the 1780s and were swept along on a tide of plant collecting fervour which endured until the middle of the nineteenth century.
