Tell Me More...
This award winning pretty half-hardy shrub will mesmerise and delight with its soft frills and stunning dark foliage. The RHS clearly agrees with us as they have awarded Fuchsia 'Heidi Ann' its prestigious Award of Garden Merit. Perfect pendulums of frothy purple and red double blooms will freely flower from early summer through to late autumn, making it the ideal centrepiece for any patio pot or border display. Fuchsia 'Heidi Anne' is a medium sized deciduous bushy upright fuchsia, which will reach a height and spread of up to 50 x 50cm. Moist, well-drained soil and a sheltered position in full or part sunshine will suit your fuchsia perfectly. This half-hardy variety will need protection from frosty conditions and container plants are best over-wintered in an enclosed porch or conservatory. Plants used as summer bedding are best treated as annuals. Fuchsia 'Heidi Ann' has an RHS hardiness rating of H4.
