The apple and pear have been selected for their reliably heavy crop and first-class flavour, the plum for its impressive ability to be grown in a pot without compromising on fruit quality or taste. Prefer moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. All self-fertile, though will crop most heavily with other varieties growing nearby. Hardy, deciduous trees/ shrubs grown on significatly shorter rootstock to keep the plants compact.
