A hot and heady mix of reds and yellows from these full double blooms which trail up to 30cm from baskets and pots, as well as being able to scramble across open ground and weed-suppressing groundcover. Bushy green foliage emerges in April and provides a perfect backdrop to these rich and redolent blooms – produced in abundance from June through to October time. Plants in your Fiery Calibrachoa Calita Collection reach a height and spread of 30cm – forming generous cushions with a ‘self-cleansing’ habit, whereby spent flowers drop ready to be swept up – negating the need for continual deadheading. Your collection comprises ‘Calita Double Sun’ with sunny yellow flowers; ‘Calita Double Red’ with oodles of scarlet blooms; and ‘Calita Double Cherry’ with deeper, more intense red hues. Plant these weather resistant wonders in well-drained sand or loam based soil. Position in full sun with a south or west facing aspect. Tende perennials most frequently grown as annual summer bedding.
