You may know Bergenia as 'Elephants Ears', due to their large oval leaves... and this collection of Bergenia does indeed have rather spectacular 'ears'. Here are three charming Bergenia for you to enjoy: 'Diamond Drops' - The foliage on this variety is a lush green with added hues of rose and bronze in the autumn and winter. Earlier in the year the flowers appear. From March to May eye-catching tall stems emerge and are adorned with white, bell-shaped blooms. 'Dark Damsel' - Pretty bells of soft pink flowers with a dark eye are borne on thick red stems between March and May, from a bed of large glossy leathery leaves. The foliage turns a beautiful plum colour in autumn. 'Fire and Ice' - Charming clusters of pink-tinged, white blooms with magenta-pink calyces make this spring bloomer a delightful addition to your garden. The stems of bell-shaped flowers appear on your 'Fire & Ice' from March to May. The blooms in this unique Bergenia Collection put on a vibrant display in your beds, borders, and rockeries, offering a generous supply of cut flowers for your vases.
