A World Fair Trade Organisation product, the Artisan Tahera Teardrop Bird Nester boasts a small cavity, a nice and cosy place for species of small garden birds to roost over winter.Sturdy and long lasting, the inner frame has strong metal hooks at the rear and a loop at the top so you can easily secure it in place, preferably somewhere with natural leaf cover. The round entrance hole is reinforced with steel for easy access and protrudes slightly to create a landing platform. The sturdy frame is carefully handwoven with natural hogla seagrass and colourful recycled saris by the artisan workers in Bangladesh. This makes each Teardrop Tahera Nester totally unique in colour and each one sold will help fight the poverty faced by rural families in the area.If possible, position in a sheltered place, out of prevailing winds, facing between North and South-East.
