Our experts have created a collection of their ten ‘must-have’ pastel perennials, selected to offer a long, successional display from late spring until autumn. First to bloom are the pink, apricot and purple spires of the lupin and digitalis, along with the huge salmon-pink flowers of the papaver. Cushions of pink armeria burst open at ground level, gradually joined by clouds of pinkish white erigeron, lime-green alchemilla, and mauve scabious.
