Tell Me More...
Year round, reliable colour is created by mounds of attractive, grey-green foliage with bright cream variegation. Euphorbia martini 'Ascot Rainbow' brings an eye-catching, evergreen display for your borders and containers. In colder weather a pink-red tinge adds interest. From April to October bright green flowerheads on dark stems protect tiny red flowers which are much loved by bees and other pollinators. Beneficially deer, rabbits and other garden pests tend to leave well alone. A relative of the Poinsettia, like the rest of the Euphorbia family, care should be taken when handling the white, milky sap which is an irritant. Euphorbia martini 'Ascot Rainbow' holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit for outstanding performance in the garden.Euphorbia martini 'Ascot Rainbow' is a hardy perennial with good tolerance to both heat and drought, it will not require winter protection across most of the UK. Prefers to be planted in well-drained, light soil in a sunny position to ensure reaching a mature height of 1-1.5m and spread of around 1m.
