Green Spire is a great alternative which can be used in just the same way in the garden without the problem of box blight. The bushy upright evergreen foliage is extremely hardy and can be clipped into short hedging or shapes - perfect for creating an edge to your border and between beds and pathways, or as a neat and fuss-free potted plant.Plant versatile and rapidly growing Euonymus jap. Green Spire in full sun or part shade in any soil type and it will reach an eventual height of 1m, with a spread of 50cm needing little to no maintenance.Euonymus jap.
