Tell Me More...
A newcomer to the Winter Series of Erysimum, this hybrid combines the best qualities of several species to give you large, long-flowering, intensely fragrant plants with a neat, tight growth habit. Erysimum 'Winter Light' is a truly radiant variety with limoncello yellow flowers which shift and change in tone as they emerge, develop and mature from March through to September. This is a generously floriferous plant, perfect for a rock garden, the middle of a border, or a container display, where, aside from a light haircut after flowering, it can be left alone to do its own, rather spectacular thing.Erysimum 'Winter Light' likes a spot in moderately fertile soil which is well-drained and enjoys either full sun or partial shade. A half-hardy, evergreen perennial which reaches a height and spread of 30-40cm and may need winter protection in colder areas of the UK.
