Tell Me More...
Bred to be more tightly packed, Erysimum linifolium 'Erysistible Fire' offers blooms from April to September each year in glowing yellow and orange. With no two flowers looking the same, these open and gently fragrant flowers will look fabulous planted ‘en masse’ in the border or mixed with other bright perennials for a frivolous impact in containers and gravel gardens. Perfume is akin to honey and violets, with a subtle, sophisticated appeal – just perfect for a vase inside your home too. As Erysimum linifolium 'Erysistible Fire' is more compact, plants will not become leggy – all you need do is deadhead for a continuance of flowers and trim back at the end of the season to keep them looking their best. Erysimum linifolium 'Erysistible Fire' prefers well-drained, fertile soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing for best results. A hardy (H5) evergreen perennial which grows to a height of 50cm with a spread of 40cm.
