Tell Me More...
Pretty pink blooms above everlasting carpets of colour An evergreen hardy perennial, with delicate foliage tinged red and pink when young. In April and May your Epimedium Asiatic Hybrid produces sprays of silvery pink flowers which deepen to shades of red as they age. With a reflexed appearance these delicate, yet prominent, flowers are held on tall, wiry stems which will sway gently in spring breeze and bob as they are visited by bees and other pollinators. A great way to enhance your spring planting at the edge of a woodland border, in a shaded rockery or a strategically placed container. Excellent as groundcover, where the richly hued, heart-shaped foliage will suppress weeds as well as adding year-round colour. Plant Epimedium Asiatic Hybrid in moist, well-drained soil which benefits from full or partial shade. Suitable for any aspect other than south facing, in most soils, apart from those with a clay base or strongly alkaline pH. Grows to a height of 30-45cm with a spread of 30
