The ideal place for our Enchanting Erythronium Collection is tucked away below trees and shrubs, as these beautiful bulbs positively thrive in dappled shade. Plants are also perfect for rockeries, woodland style planting or shady pond edges with these three varieties producing spectacular blooms from March to April each year. Flowers are exotic looking, with a decorous, lily-like charm which explains why another common name is the Fawn Lily. Furthermore, despite their delicate appearance, these are robust enough to grow in most low-light areas and hardy enough to naturalise and spread in UK gardens.Plants in the Enchanting Erythronium Collection prefer moist, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. All have variegated foliage in varying shades of green and bronze which is retained from March through to July adding low-growing interest beyond the flowering period. Hardy, herbaceous perennials which reach a height and spread of 25-35cm.
