Tell Me More...
Echinacea Sunseeker 'Tequila Sunrise' really does capture the essence of summertime. Few daisies are larger and brighter; exuding warmth and wonder wherever you choose to plant them. Blooming throughout the summer and into the autumn, they are highly prized by florists for their longevity both in the garden and in the vase. Each flower is held atop a strong stem, giving you armfuls of blooms to cut for your home and create long lasting floral arrangements. Flowers are dramatic in form as petals surround the iconic, prominent, central cone. Bees, butterflies, and other friendly pollinators will come visiting for a nectar-rich feast. 'Tequila Sunrise' exemplifies its name with yellow, red and purple tones all appearing at the same time, dependent upon the development of the flowers. Suitable for mass planting as well as creating separate focal points in the garden. Happy to grow in coastal sites and wildlife gardens, Echinacea Sunseekers reach a height of 45-60cm and spread of 50cm. Prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun. A hardy, deciduous perennial which needs no winter protection.
