Echinacea Sunseekers Rainbow is as precious as a pot of gold. Demanding to be noticed, the giant colour-changing blooms will dazzle throughout summer and well into the autumn. Solitary, large, daisy-like blooms are held atop strong stems. Opening with orange-yellow petals, the tones alter through shades of salmon-orange to blush-pink. You will have a rainbow of colours on one plant, with armfuls of cut flowers for your home. Echinacea are known as the American Coneflower and have long been used by Native North Americans as a traditional herbal remedy for various ailments - including snake bites. Nowadays, echinacea are commonly used to relieve symptoms of colds and flu. Happy grown in coastal sites and wildlife gardens Echinacea are loved by bees and butterflies but deer tend to leave well alone.Echinacea prefer to be grown in well-drained soil in sun and will cope in partial shade. A hardy perennial which will grow to a height of 75cm and spread of 60cm and will thrive outside for you to enjoy for years to come, with no winter protection required.
