Tell Me More...
The countless, giant, daisy-like blooms of Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific' will be awash with pollinators and assured of both your and their attention in the summer and autumn garden. Blooms open red-orange and mature to purple red for colour shifting and animated delight from June to October each year. Strong stems make them ideal as a cut flower for both a vase and a bouquet (or a jaunty buttonhole). Once flowers have faded, they also provide beneficial late season seedheads for wildlife.Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific' prefers to be planted in well-drained soil which benefits from full sun or part shade. A hardy, herbaceous perennial which dies back over winter and then reinvigorates the following March to start its growth cycle again. Plants need no winter protection and grow to a height and spread of 30cm - ideal for the front of a border, a window box or a container.
