Double the seasons; double the blooms
An exciting new ensemble for 2024 which offers larger than average, generous double blooms from June through to October time. Colours are rich and intense, adding vigorous joy to containers or open ground for up to five months, as well as making perfect cut flowers for a vase or bouquet. Flowers are enticing to bees and other pollinators too.
Your Eager Zinnia marylandica ‘Zahara Double’ Collection is made up of two varieties which hold the RHS Award of Garden Merit for their outstanding performance in the garden – ‘Cherry’ and ‘Fire’ – along with a much-loved ‘White’ variety to complete the trio. All have a maximum height of 60cm with a spread of 30cm.
Plants in the Eager Zinnia marylandica ‘Zahara Double’ Collection prefer a well-drained soil of any type which benefits from a south or west facing aspect in full sun. As tender annuals they will die back with the onset of cold weather and should be composted down at the end of the growing year.
