Highly sought-after, rare and unusual, double flowered Geranium have all the wonderful attributes of their single flowered cousins. A mainstay of any garden, easy to grow in both borders and containers.
Amazingly floriferous, producing rosebud-like blooms, they are incredibly versatile and will happily entwine with other near-by plants to the delight of both pollinators and passers-by.
Mounds of attractive, deeply dissected foliage create effective weed suppressing groundcover which is slug and rabbit resistant while being drought tolerant. The clumps get larger each year and can be divided after several years.
The ‘Double Flowered Geranium Collection’ comprises; pratense ‘Cloud Nine’ – pale blue double blooms from late spring to mid-summer, then again from late summer into the autumn, height 90cm, spread 50cm; pratense ‘Azure Skies’ – violet blue double blooms from may until September, height and spread 60cm; and pratense ‘Laura’ – unusual crisp white blooms in June, July and August, height and spread 45-60cm.
Fully hardy, Double Geranium are not fussy on soil conditions and are happy in either sun or part shade.
