Exotic-looking houseplant with sweet candy-pink bloomsDipladenia is a bushy, shrub-like, evergreen plant which has a gently trailing habit, belonging to the Mandevilla family.Pretty pink flowers with bright yellow hearts appear from June to August, spangling the glossy dark-green foliage. A South African native which is best grown as a houseplant as it needs continuity of temperature (no lower than 18 C) - even the hardiest Dipladenia will not survive the lightest frost. Dipladenia love a bright position out of direct sunlight in a room which receives at least 6-8 hours of daylight. Plant into loam-based, houseplant compost. Water your Dipladenia liberally when the soil is dry just beneath the surface and feed fortnightly with liquid fertiliser. Mature H&S: 60cm x 60cmPrune after flowering if required.
