Tell Me More...
Brilliant for attracting butterflies and pollinators to your garden, Diervilla ses. Dise is an unusual hardy shrub which is covered in clusters of buttery yellow, trumpet-like flowers throughout July and August. The blooms are not dissimilar to Honeysuckle with their elegant tubular shape and protruding stamens, which is why this plant is often referred to as the Bush Honeysuckle. The foliage is especially striking in tones of red and bronze earlier in the year, merging into deep green in summer. The large leaves are oval shaped and elegantly pointed at the tips.Diervilla are thicket forming shrubs which will reach a height of 1.25m at maturity. Diervilla ses. Dise is an excellent, fully hardy plant for filling blank spaces with interest, perhaps near the back of a border or used as low screening or hedging.Plant in a semi-shaded location in any soil type which is well-drained.
