Dianthus caryophyllus Sunflor Orange Bling Bling is an upright, bushy, evergreen perennial with flattened, narrowly lance-shaped, dark grey-green leaves which grow to form mounds from where the flowers emerge in summer. Stiff and upright stems bear highly perfumed, double, fiery orange blooms from June to September each year. Alongside these reliable and robust blooms, Dianthus caryophyllus Sunflor Orange Bling Bling also releases the characteristic and much-loved sweet, carnation perfume to fill summer breezes from borders, rockeries and alpine gardens or strategically placed containers. Flowers are also excellent for cutting as a posy or traditional buttonhole - great for weddings or other special occasions. Dianthus caryophyllus Sunflor Orange Bling Bling is a hardy perennial which is drought tolerant once it has established a good root structure. It prefers a site which has well-drained soil and benefits from full sun and will reach a maximum height of 30cm and spread of 40cm.
