This bundle of luscious, late-season colour is sure to prove a favourite for both modern and traditional planting. ‘Determined Dahlia Bishop Collection’ adds beneficial groundcover from spring onwards when the rich, resplendent foliage emerges. Flowers commence from mid to late summer and, with diligent deadheading, continue through to the first frosts. Flowers in the ‘Determined Dahlia Bishop Collection’ are great for bouquets and vases – lending vibrancy during summer and then co-ordinating with autumnal tones later in the season. In addition, they will provide late season sustenance to the bees and other pollinators. ‘Determined Dahlia Bishop Collection’s’ plants are drought tolerant once roots have established. They are half-hardy (H3) perennials which may need lifting and dry storing over winter to protect them from frost. All prefer a site with well-drained soil of any type except chalk based. Position in full sun and plants will mature to a height of up to 90cm with a spread of 50cm. Collection comprises: award-winning 'Bishop of Llandaff; ‘Bishop of York'; and 'Bishop of Oxford'.
