Tell Me More...
There is nothing quite like a white delphinium to bring a sharp architectural feature to your borders and Delphinium elatum ‘Paramo Blanca’ fits this bill perfectly. Pure white blooms with a light bee on sturdy stems appear in June and last through until August over compact, green foliage bringing beacons of light to your containers and back of borders. Very free flowering with the possibility of a second flush if fed regularly through the growing season and if the faded blooms are cut back. Bred for the floristry market Delphinium elatum ‘Paramo Blanca’ will give you bundles of blooms to use in arrangements and vases all summer long. Bees and butterflies will make a ‘bee line’ for these nectar-rich stately spires. Position in a sunny sheltered spot away from strong winds (stake if necessary) in fertile, moist, well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Grows to a height of 90-150cm and a spread of 40-75cm. Hardy herbaceous perennial with an RHS rating of H5.
