A luxurious touch for your winter and spring garden', the Decadent Helleborus 'Double Ellen' Collection offers blooms from January to May each year. The flowers are double in form and some are delicately painted with darker freckles then crowned by a corona of yellow stamen. Deliciously decorative and perfect for a table dressing, vase or bouquet. Leaves are palmate, dark and glossy with prominent veins and markings so make an interesting addition to displays too.Hellebores have an intriguing growth habit. They expand outwards as loose mounds, without growing too much taller each year. This means that they seldom outgrow their space and remain a manageable size.Plants in the Decadent Helleborus 'Double Ellen' Collection prefer humus rich, moist, well-drained soil in part sun to full shade - the edge of a wooded area or semi-shaded corner is ideal.
