Long-lasting, robust flowers with exotic looks and warming hues emerge in June and last through to October. The Dazzling Alstroemeria Collection is made up of three cottage garden favourites which also lend themselves to modern planting styles - either in containers or in open ground. Dependable as well as beautiful, the six-petalled blooms are perfect for picking - a handy trick is to pull stems from the base of the plant. The resulting callous or wound created actually promotes more flowering stems to be produced. Once these beauties are in a vase, they have an anticipated lifespan of up to 3 weeks - representing great value as well as decorous impact. The three varieties in the Dazzling Alstroemeria Collection are Duchesses dAnjou Isabelle - a mid-height pink wonder which reaches up to 50cm tall; Majestic Avrill at up to 90cm in height with warming peachy tones; and Ducs dAnjou Nicolas - with a crown of golden, speckled petals with a height of 50cm. Each will spread up to 50cm. All like a moist, well-drained soil in either full sun or partial shade and are hardy, herbaceous perennials.
