A trio of exciting foliage to create decorous, groundcover from February through to November. Foliage in the Dappled Pulmonaria Collection is not the only beneficial feature - these shade-loving plants also hold pretty, open-mouthed blooms from as early as February through to May. Flowers are borne in clusters on strong stems in varying shades of pink, blue and white. Plants are ideal for the edge of a woodland or other shady spot where the silvery-green leaves can magically shimmer forth along with a speckling of intriguing, dainty blooms. Dappled Pulmonaria Collection is compiled from Silver Bouquet (H&S: 50cm), hybrid Twinkle Toes (H&S: 60cm) and newcomer Moonshine (H&S: 35cm). All prefer to be planted in moist, well drained, humus rich soil which benefits from partial to full shade. These are hardy, semi-evergreen or herbaceous perennials which should not need additional winter protection throughout most of the UK as they are able to withstand temperatures as low as -10 C.
