Small in size yet mighty in scentWhether you see these magnificent shrubs before you smell their intoxicating perfume is simply a matter of the direction of the breeze. Whichever way the wind blows, you will not be disappointed by these wonderful semi-evergreens which provide foliage interest along with dainty, fully fragrant blooms in shades of pink. The RHS describes daphne as a 'must have' plant, which is unsurprising as their blooms last for months at a time. 'Pink Fragrance' is covered in delicate yet powerfully scented pale-pink flowers from spring right through until autumn. One of the more compact daphnes, with a height and spread of 90cm, this cultivar is an excellent choice for containers, the front of borders or lining a path. These hardy shrubs like a moist well-drained soil in full or part sun and will be a magnet for pollinators in your garden. Little pruning is required due to a neat growing habit and compact size.
