Dahlia XXL 'Tabasco' is as hot and fiery to look at as the pepper-sauce from which it takes its name. Flaming red, orange and yellow colours mix and mingle to give a sense of spice and heat to your planting from June to October. The 'XXL' range of dahlias are known for their large flowers and a generous, repeat flowering habit so will continue to perform for up to 4 months if diligently deadheaded.An exuberant introduction to a container or border, all you need to do is ensure that you plant (or site) Dahlia XXL 'Tabasco' in a spot where their astonishing hues can be fully appreciated. Oh, and remember to stake them if they are in an exposed spot too.Dahlia XXL 'Tabasco' is a half-hardy perennial which will need to be lifted and stored over winter for blooms to return the following year. Alternatively, and for ease, it can be treated as an annual bedding plant. Prefers a site in full sun which has moist, well-drained soil. Reaches a height and spread of 60cm.
